Football Insider reports that Dundee United are interested in signing Lyall Cameron permanently from Rangers. The 24-year-old has established himself in Jim Goodwin’s midfield since arriving at Tannadice. United and Rangers both describe the current agreement as a season-long loan. The report says Cameron’s Rangers contract runs until 2029 and that his position is expected to be reviewed in the summer. At this stage, it describes interest rather than an agreement.

The Daily Record reports that Dylan Tait turned down summer interest from Barnsley and Plymouth because he believed Dundee United were the right next step. The midfielder points to the size of the club, Jim Goodwin and the support at Tannadice. At 24, he says he is coming into his prime and wants to keep playing at the highest level possible.

Loan Watch. Matthew Mudie’s Spartans beat Annan three-two on Saturday. There is also an injury update on Ruairidh Adams. Airdrieonians say the goalkeeper has a hip flexor strain and will be out for a number of weeks.
